Gamesrecruit Limited was formed in October 2001 and the website www.gamesrecruit.co.uk was launched 3 months later in January 2002. It was the first jobsite dedicated to the UK Games Industry and still retains this honour. With more than 200 advertising companies and an average of 40,000 visitors per month it has established itself as the only place to look for or advertise UK Games Industry Jobs.

Nestled within the south lanes area of Brighton the Gamesrecruit office is dangerously close to most of the Cities best bars, restaurants and cafes. Brighton is fast becoming the location of choice for Games Companies and with Babel , Climax, Relentless, NCsoft, RedBedlam and Kuju already present we are in good company

The team is a mixed bag of top talent headed up by Adrian Brown (Recruitment Director-9 Years) and Craig Gabell (Games Art Director – 10 Years). We have Andrea ( Granada , M&C Saatchi and Channel 4) and Vicki (Bonhams, Reed) who deal with all of our office management, Graham (ACA – Greenaway) is our accountant and Chris (Silentworld) is our technical manager. In 2005 we have moved into a number of new areas including Outsource Project Management and Consultancy, working more closely with Studios and offering professional advice especially in the area of organising/managing art departments/projects.

In the next 12 months we will be making massive strides towards not only growing our workforce and client list but also keeping Gamesrecruit at the top of the pile when it comes to advertising for people within the UK Games Industry.
